JoAnna Cintron

Senior Manager, Individual Giving

JoAnna is Senior Manager of Individual Giving. Her work focuses on finding meaningful ways to connect people to HIP’s work with the goals of mobilizing our collective resources to build equitable systems and long-term change and democratizing philanthropy.

Prior to joining HIP, JoAnna was the Executive Director of a nonprofit organization in Colorado focused on racial equity, health equity, food justice and economic development. Her professional experience includes nonprofit leadership, fundraising, communications, publicity, event planning, and strategic program development.

JoAnna graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Advertising & Ethnic Studies and is an alumni of the Latino Leadership Institute. She loves going on walks with her dog, journaling, reading, tarot, riding her bike, and connecting with loved ones over food and art. She is a proud Boricua, born in the Bronx, and raised in Colorado.
