Mario Gonzalez Arellano
Migration & Forced Displacement Associate
Mario supports the Migration & Forced Displacement team in overall development and implementation of programmatic strategies, support on grantmaking, capacity building, partner outreach and relationship management, event design and planning, issue-based research and writing.
Mario is a Social Anthropologist with experience working in the philanthropy and nonprofit sector. Before joining HIP, Mario worked in Habitat for Humanity Mexico as International Volunteer and Tithe coordinator, but also supported other programs and activities like the Individual Donors program and the Fundraising Innovation Project.
In his spare time, he enjoys exploring new places and cultures, cooking all kinds of new recipes, spend time with his family and dog, and recently started baking.
